how to have a good bad day.




















































bad days are inevitable. and i seem to have them a lot. mine are usually caused by my mood. sometimes i just need a break or i just want to stay in bed and watch movies all day. but that's definitly not possible. IVE GOT THINGS TO DO. but i do believe that you can have a "good" bad day and here are a few things i try to do when i'm just not feeling it.

music
it can be super tempting to just switch on the tv when im in a bad mood so i intentionally avoid it and opt for some music instead. guaranteed to boost my mood!

hydrate
there is nothing more comforting to me than sitting down with a coffee in one hand and my phone in the other. its the perfect escape. BUT too much caffeine can cause you to become dehydrated. try to keep your water intake up even if you don't feel like it. you will feel better!

keep it tidy
i don't know about you but i feel extra crappy if the space i am in is messy & cluttered. so i make it a priority on bad days to keep my space tidy.

decide whats necessary
try to cull your to do list and take it easy. sometimes people just don't feel like doing anything and thats okay, most things on our to do lists are not so urgent that we can't put our mental health first.

flowers & essential oils
obviously this comes down to personal taste but having some pretty flowers and a calming scent around helps me to destress.

go to bed early
nothing cures a bad day like moving on from it. go to bed early and tell yourself that yea, today was shit but tomorrow will be better!
